
Dickens, Mark
Mark has more than 30 years’ experience in vehicle design, development and manufacturing of both consumer and government vehicles. He began his engineering career in 1988 at Bendix/Robert Bosch Corporation and worked for several automotive suppliers before moving to the OEM side Mark has been at General Motors since 1997 where he has held multiple positions in Advanced Vehicle Engineering, Vehicle Development, Defense and Vehicle Program Engineering Management. He has held a Vehicle Chief Engineering role on various programs over the last ten years. He has pioneered low volume, niche execution of vehicles that pushed the boundary of performance in multiple categories of on- and off road, cars, trucks and defense in both retail and commercial applications. Mark now leads engineering for GM’s full size truck and SUV programs. This includes current and future product development that meet evolving regulatory and propulsion needs. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Akron, and a Master of Engineering Science from Rensselaer Polytech Institute.
