Scott Phillippi is a seasoned leader in the commercial fleet industry, recognized for his expertise in zero-emission vehicles, sustainable technologies, and solutions that drive both environmental and operational efficiencies. With a deep understanding of fleet management and electrification, he has been at the forefront of advancing the adoption of clean technologies while simultaneously helping businesses achieve their sustainability and cost-efficiency goals. As Chief Community Officer at Shaed, Scott Phillippi plays a key role in advancing the transition to electric vehicles within the commercial fleet industry. Representing the voice of fleet customers, he works closely with operators to navigate the complexities of electrification, ensuring that technological solutions align with industry needs and sustainability goals. By driving the integration of innovative tools and addressing regulatory and infrastructure challenges, Scott is helping to shape a more efficient and sustainable future for fleet management. Before joining Shaed, Scott was Chief Continuity Officer at REE Automotive, where he led strategic initiatives aimed at advancing the company's fleet electrification efforts. He worked cross-functionally to align product development with customer needs, focusing on solutions that enhanced fleet efficiency while supporting environmental objectives. Prior to REE, Scott served as the Vice President of Fleet Maintenance and Engineering at UPS, where he was responsible for entire ground fleet throughout UPS’ international operations including acquisition strategies. Additionally, he oversaw fleet sustainability issues globally for UPS including fleet electrification, launched their telematics program and was a well-respected and in-demand speaker on topics ranging from fleet electrification to corporate sustainability, influencing industry standards and practices. In addition to his professional roles, Scott has contributed to the industry through his service on the boards of Calstart, Clean Cities Georgia, and the Green Truck Association. He is a graduate of Lincoln Tech in Indianapolis and has pursued further business education at Harvard Business School and Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
