Performing a weight study is a crucial step in spec’ing commercial vehicles. Learn the information needed to perform a weight analysis, from OEM ratings to Bridge Law compliance, and regulations for U.S. states and Canadian provinces. This session will:

Cover the requirements gathering process needed before spec’ing.
Demonstrate how to calculate weight distribution, center of gravity and maximum payload, and share strategies for maximizing payload.
Explore implications of alternative energy sources, including electric vehicles, on weight analysis.
Advise on tools to help with weight analysis using realworld examples.
